Delete Your TARK Account
TARK users can start account deletion directly inside the mobile app. This page explains the same process for app store data deletion forms and support review.
Delete from the mobile app
- Open the TARK app and sign in.
- Go to Me, then Privacy & Legal.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Request the confirmation code sent to your verified account email or phone.
- Review any squad or workspace handoff shown in the app.
- Enter the code in the app and start deletion.
What is removed or anonymized
- Login identity, contact details, profile, preferences, and registered devices.
- Personal chat messages, reactions, presence records, uploaded chat media, and avatars.
- Account-linked provider, coach, guardian, and athlete profile details.
What may be retained
TARK may retain limited settled financial records, safety and moderation records, legal consent evidence, and shared completed-session history where required. Retained operational records use a neutral Deleted user identity.
Squads and workspaces
Deletion is not blocked when the account is the only squad admin. If active members remain, ownership transfers to an eligible active member. If nobody remains, the squad is archived and future sessions are cancelled. A workspace follows the same safe-transfer rule or is suspended.
Sign in with Apple
If you authorized TARK with Apple, also remove TARK from Settings > your name > Sign-In & Security > Sign in with Apple after requesting deletion.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access your account, contact support@playtark.com from the email address associated with your TARK account.
